I took an old, beat-up piano bench and brought it back to life. This tiny table project was fun without being a huge time commitment. I gave it two coats of Valspar high-adhesive bonding primer and then three coats of the deep teal. A geometric gold and white contact paper line the inside, and metallic gold paint adorn the feet. I added honeycomb on top and the treat of a little gold bee on the inside of the lid. This tiny table sits in between two yellow chairs in my living room, but sometimes it has a fun use for parties—we take it out on the patio, throw some sparkly cork lights in it, and display wine bottles and glasses. It’s a festive attraction for social gatherings, and a practical drink table.
