This island was built for me by a friend. He put a lot of time and effort into it, and I just love it. It made a new smaller home for me and my boys feel more like home and allowed us to bake together on it.

There were some spots from wood putty used on the top. So I decided to jazz it up a bit with a stencil. I went with a boho design and some bright colors. I polyurethaned the top after. The legs are a contrasting bright white. This is one of my most treasured pieces, and we now use it as our home office.
